What is eastghost.com ?

This site exists for sharing experiences, pictures, findings, event announcements, questions and information.

It's meant to be valuable to you, to increase your enjoyment and fulfillment, knowledge and understanding, to help you share your experience and find your truth. The point is not necessarily about "proof", it's about experience and evidence, documentation and making and keeping connections.

Through sharing what we know all may benefit. We strive for excellence in all things and welcome compatible individuals and groups at any level.

"We wish to pursue Truth no matter where it leads. But, to find Truth we need imagination and skepticism, both. We will not be afraid to speculate, but we will be careful to distinguish speculation from fact." --Carl Sagan

Experience • Knowledge

"We foster an environment of constructive peer review, the philosophy being the more active members out there thinking, observing and collecting evidence, the more likely someone is to produce something substantial and the more we all collectively learn. Another way to look at it: Every family has an eccentric member or two; we're the place where all those folks can collectively hang out and feel at home."

Haunts Database

Ms. Moran's Cottage

BRIEF: beach front cabin

SUMMARY: When I was in school we went on a field trip to Ms. Moran's cottage not sure why, it was near a beach and in Calvert County. We were told that the house was once occupied by a woman who was known as a witch and was hung for her "crimes". You could sense her near the "hanging tree" which was very oddly shaped and creepy.

Wyndham Tutwiler Hotel

BRIEF: Colonel Tutwiler loves his late meals

SUMMARY: Some people believe that old Colonel Tutwiler roams the halls of the Wyndham Tutwiler Hotel in downtown Birmingham. Most sightings and paranormal events occur after dark, usually in the early morning hours.

"The morgue"

Baltimore City, Maryland
Part of: morgan state university

BRIEF: creepy boarded up hospital looking building

SUMMARY: I posted a forum pertaining to this place. [I guess I messed up] But there is a whole lot of creepiness in the basement and especially the 2nd floor.

Congressional Country Club

BRIEF: Colorful ghosts.

SUMMARY: Long rumored as haunted (the receptionist cheerfully confirms), this elite-of-elite country club, just northwest of DC along the Potomac River, sports the likes of senators and a who's-who list of dignitaries and presidents and "veeps" going solidly back to its formation over one hundred years ago.
