BRIEF: A quaker gathering place, a boys school, and an inn. SUMMARY: The Milton Inn was built in 1740, making it over 250 years old. It is located in Spark in Northern Baltimore County.
The house served s a coachstop for Quakers who settled in this area. The Quakers often gathered at the New Gunpowder Meeting House located only a few miles from the Inn.
Sparks was once called Priceville, named after the Quaker John Price. There are members of the Price family still living in the area. BRIEF: GW's bro in law SUMMARY: The Kenmore Mansion was the home of Colonel Fielding Lewis. Sometimes the guest is seem sitting at one of the tables. The ghost has been seen upstairs in one of the rooms. Some people have heard unexplained footsteps in the restaurant. BRIEF: Patient beware. SUMMARY: This institution was founded in 1797, making it the second oldest insane asylum in the Nation.
